Methanol Decomposition Furnace

In the methanol cracking furnace, liquid methanol (CH₃OH) is vaporized and then decomposed at high temperature in the presence of a catalyst (typically nickel-based). The chemical reaction is:

CH₃​OH→CO+2H_2​

The resulting gas mixture mainly consists of:
